We are the BSA of ESA. An association operating in Etobicoke School of the Arts. We are an outlet for students of colour to have a safe space and speak about their experiences in and out of the school environment, as well as current social issues. Along with this we, each year have a student directed Black History Month show. We have had the opportunities to be featured on the Huffington Post and work with the OATH organization, and have a high demand of our tote bags. Hope you enjoy our video!

The business we have created is the BSA of ESA. Throughout our years at ESA we have encountered many obstacles that have made us feel frustrated and alone. With our 200 tote sales and 2 sold out shows we have been able to shed light on important issues and inspire many minds. With our product we not only give people a cute new tote bag but we also give them a form of activism and a way to support young black creatives. Our company will succeed because we have the platform to reach out targeted audience and we have already been able to expand the show outside of the school in working with the Huffington Post and performing to other school in the TDSB. Out targeted audiences are students of colour who are looking for an outlet for creativity and to express themselves. In monthly meetings we talk about social justice issues that occur in society and how we feel about them.
