Sprink aims to optimize water consumption, increase work efficiency and save tax payer dollars by automating the collection of parks and recreation facilities data of Municipalities, commercial parks and other urban facilities. Once use case is during the spring season, the City of Hamilton spent around 200K to inspect parks and sport fields of the city during rain occurrences to enforce it's Sports Fields Rain Out Policy. We aim to place sensors that help cities save energy and water.

Rome: Hello my name is Rome Muqeeth: And I'm Muqeeth Rome: The problem that we are trying to solve is that more than 50% percent of people that use sprinklers forget to turn them off and, on every day, and because of that it leads to money, water, and energy wastage. Muqeeth: Our solution to this problem is a fully automated IOT platform called “Sprink” it uses a humidity sensor to figure out the moisture or the dryness of the soil which then lets the sprinkler know when it should be turned on and for how long. Muqeeth: Let me give you an example the city of Hamilton could benefit from our solution because it will save a lot of money, energy, and water. Rome: Our business case is targeted for customers not only cities like Hamilton but also home owners, farm owners, governments, and potential customers that need sprinklers. Muqeeth: Also, we plan to add a lot of cool features like detecting the grass level, finding out the quality of the soil and more Rome: Thank you for listening Muqeeth: And for your support to help us have a positive impact on Mother Nature
