View Video Transcription

The Phone Shield Decreasing the risk of cancer one case at a time Maya Rego, Owen Hutchison, Colin Walker, Hannah Heard Over 5 billion people worldwide have cell phones, thus increasing the risk of phone radiation effects. The effects of radiation are dizziness, neurosis, insomnia, headaches, stress increase, lower bone density, infertility and brain cancer. The Phone Shield will block radiation that exits from the back and sides of the phone, preventing the effects of radiation. The target market for the Phone Shield will be for anyone with a newer iPhone or Samsung who wishes to protect themselves from the harmful radiation waves coming from their smartphone. The Phone Shield will be sold for $45 which is the average price for a radiation protection phone case. Radiation protection phone cases that are available on the market today are sold as 2 separate parts, a flip screen case and a hard case with poor materials. The Phone Shield will have a thin rectangular piece of lead covered by silicone mold. The silicone is impact damage resistant and will give a sleek, comfortable feel in your hand. The Phone Shield will be sold on Amazon, eBay, and in retail stores. The Phone Shield will be advertised on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The Phone Shield will be compatible with the newest iPhone and Samsung phones. The Phone Shield will be successful as today’s society is focused on decreasing the risk of cancer and improving our health. The Phone Shield will also be reasonably priced. Citations Sawers, P.
